Financial Aid

Don’t know how to pay for college? Daunted by the possibility of a mountain load of student debt?

Don’t know where to start? Confused about FAFSA? What IS FAFSA?

Well, don’t worry! We’re about to dissect the different types of financial aid available for college students and help you gather the resources you need to create a solid plan to help you pay for that stellar college education you’ve always wanted.

Let’s start with the types of financial aid available:

  • Scholarships
  • Grants
  • Work-Study
  • Loans

The first 2 types of financial aid are options that are offered to you at no cost. They are like free money that you do NOT need to pay back. However, you do need to pay back student loans, and you do need to work (so paying with your time) for the work-study option. There are several types of loans, some with lower interest rates and some with interest that doesn’t accumulate while you’re in school. More on that later.
