Go to Grow Abroad was founded and designed by Gappers for Gappers. Why go? Go to grow! Our programs are carefully designed to promote personal growth and development for students, adults, and retirees. We have firsthand experience as both gap year students and program providers, which allows us to better understand and serve our clients. Go to Grow Abroad staff has walked the walk, and that critical experience allows us to relate to our clients and their needs in a way many other companies are unable to match.

Go to Grow Abroad provides authentic experiences abroad through programs carefully designed to promote personal growth and development. Programs include an optimal combination of local living, exploration, culture, internship/servicework and language learning designed by immersion travel experts. We strive to provide a safe, challenging, and transformative experience for gap year students and adults.

Our program offerings include Fall Semester, Spring Semester, Summer (3-6 weeks), and “mini gaps” of 1-2 months. Programs are located in Pamplona, Spain and Manizales, Colombia. 
Our programs are designed for personal growth, but risk management is the number one priority. Program destination sites are selected with this in mind, and Go to Grow Abroad maintains both local law enforcement and political contacts in host cities. 24/7 help is available, including local representatives to assist in the event of an emergency.

Go to Grow Abroad and partners have over 30 years of experience in tourism and study abroad. Our partner institution in Pamplona, Ingenio International, hosts large groups of American university students from Clemson, Auburn, and other UK and Irish universities each summer. We provide clients with up to date information and personal safety tips. Risk management is covered extensively in orientation and made a point of emphasis throughout the program, particularly in learning how to backpack. Medical facilities are top notch in all program host cities.


Spain Program
Go to Grow Abroad in Pamplona, Spain! Participants live in Spain’s premier university city, Pamplona, located in the Navarro region, with a rich history and modern flair. The program includes living with a host family or in a local apartment, backpacking trips around Spain, small group Spanish and culture classes, internship and service opportunities, and local excursions. Additional academic offerings such as Political and Business Marketing and College and Professional skills are also available. The program is created by gappers for gappers, and designed for personal growth and development. Invest in yourself and a life changing experience!

Colombia Program

Live, learn, and grow in the most happening new travel destination that everyone in the know wants to visit: Colombia! Participants live in Colombia’s premier university city, Manizales, which is located in the lush Andean coffee region and features an “eternal spring” climate. The program includes a homestay or local apartment, backpacking trips around Colombia, small group Spanish language and culture classes, and internship and service opportunities. Additional academic offerings include Political history of Colombia, Marketing, and College and Professional Skills. The program is created by gappers for gappers, and designed for personal growth and development. Invest in yourself and a life changing experience!
